Easter, etc. All the drama ministry plays are anointed, heartfelt and deliver a powerful message.

Nurses Ministry: The Nurses Club serves the members of the church with medical assistance as needed.

They also sponsor various health check programs/clinics throughout the year.

Wards: The entire church membership is divided into small groups called Wards, and each member is

assigned to one of the wards. The ward system provides members with updates concerning the church and

their fellow members. The ward leader acts as a liaison between the pastor and members in times of

sickness, bereavement or hardship.

Communications Ministry: Newsletter Staff / Website / Facebook The church newsletter provides a

voice for the members to share events and achievements of themselves and/or family members as

well as keeping the members informed of upcoming events and services of the church.

The communications component covers the public communications and the social media arm of the Church.

Philathia Class Ministry

 

Senior’s Ministry: The Seniors’ Ministry is a ministry of the seniors, for the seniors, and operated by its senior

adult members.  It takes a holistic approach in its ministry:  the physical, the spiritual, and the emotional

well-being of its members.  The seniors meet on Wednesdays at 11am.

 

Shepherd’s Ministry: The Pastor’s Aide at UIBC is a group of members who have a mind to work for God and

aide the Pastor and his family.

 

Discipleship

 

Wonderful Wednesday in the Word (W.O.W.) Bible Study: Available to young adults through seniors.

 

Children's Ministry: Available to children ages 1 – 12 years old. This ministry not only provides fun and

fellowship for the children, but also enhances the spiritual aspect of the children during their formative years.

 

Youth Ministry: Available to young people ages 3 – 18 years old. This ministry provides a forum for young

people to ask difficult questions and have them answered and to interact with their peers.

 

Girl Scouts: The mission of the Girl Scouts Ministry is to inspire girls with the highest ideals of character,

conduct, patriotism and service that they may become happy, productive, responsible, and resourceful citizens

that will help to make the world a better place. This ministry is a community program.

New Member/Watchcare Training

 

Sunday Church School: Classes are provided for all age groups including a nursery class. The Sunday

Church School provides a study of the bible to apply to your daily living, developing Christ’s disciples.

Stewardship

 

Trustee Board:  The Trustees are responsible for the development of an annual financial canvas and for the

administration of the budget. It is the legal agent for the church. The Ministry has the responsibility for the

physical maintenance and safeguarding of church properties, confers with Pastor as to church personnel

matters, and for the church stewardship administration.

Outreach

 

Audio / Visual Ministry: This ministry serves the church and community by managing the audio sound system

as well as recording all services. These recordings are provided to the local TV station and are available for

purchase to be shared with others in the community and in the Piedmont Triad Area.
